I have been looking at these do they look good quality as they are a much cheaper alternative to kenlowes . Did you get the thermostat sensor . If you dont mind me asking what was the cost and any chance of some photos of you fitting it.
Hi Michael
Kit cost £30 at the show for fan thermostatic switch+ fitting kit.
I might buy a better sender if i get any leaks ( i used the same on an MGB and it was ok ).I just get air lock paranoia
It's a fair way down a long list of jobs ,but I will post pictures .
It's way down my list of jobs too . £30 was a good price . Worth having for extra piece of mind.
Look forward to the eventual pictures so I won't have to use my brain too much.
I'm keeping the v fan this is for peace of mind, for long summer runs to Cornwall ,in fantastic weather ,in heavy traffic over Dartmoor ,just like 1976 !
Thanks for that , 1976 lovely summer very hot I had a Herald then I think the roof was held on with 4 bolts , took them out instant convertible but without a hood .Think the convertibles had extra strengthening but I was young and didn't worry about trivial things like that ,and it didn't rain for weeks fantastic.
Michael.
