door loom grommits

which ones go on a pillar and in the door? is there a rubber gator cover for the exposed loom in the shut?
also above the door where the mechanism goes there is a round hole, does somethiung go in there?

This is what I've done and I'm well pleased with it. The original type had very fiddly grommets and the wiring in the door shut was just wrapped in normal loom wrap tape.

Not quite sure what hole you're referring to - can you post a picture ? - but there are some holes that provide access to the fixing nuts for the window frame. If it's one of these then they should be covered by a full grommet.

How have you secured it each side? SIMPLY INTO GROMMETS OF A SIZE THAT HOLDS THE CONDUIT SNUGLY


Other end Of door in regards to hole YEP - SOUNDS LIKE THE HOLES FOR THE WINDOW FRAME FIXING NUTS (JUST ABOVE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM IN (very poor !) PIC ?)
