    Diff Mounting Bush Replacement

Just replaced sub frame mountings with rubber and the trailing arm bushes with Superflex, wonderful, what a difference.

Just done 60 mile shakedown run after winter refit, first time I've driven it hard, up hills, winding lanes over the Lancashire moors, terrific.

Now, last job underneath, replacing diff mounting bushes, recommendations please Poly or Rubber ? and any tips on fitting please

Rubber being softer and transmitting less drivetrain through the car. Saying that, there are poly ones that have the splits in them which I believe makes them durable but still soft.

Likewise. I have a spare set of solid, dark blue poly, diff mounting bushes that have covered very few miles. Anyone want them for the cost of postage!

I've got the wonderful job of taking the diff out soon as well I was going to wait until next winter but it's leaking very badly after topping up with oil the other week from the extension housing.. I found what looks to be the right seal in a bag of spares I got with the car so think it may have been a job put off for a while!!

Has anyone fitted the mounting bushes from Peter @ LD Parts, he infers that the "mounting bush in rubber [we are told] but they look like polyurethane to us"

Also would it be a good idea to to fit a 3.45
diff to my auto, I intend touring with the car, does anyone have a spare?
