First Day Out

What can I say.
Read all the advice & info on the forums over last few months & have to say I was flagging a bit
Dark, wet evenings stuck out in the garage, trying to decipher the friendly advice & apply it to my motor.

Sometimes, even crossed my mind to "Out" her for something that needed less work.

Went out for first time today, put nearly 100 miles on the clock & to be honest, didn't want to come home.
Even went back out again in the dark to check headlights, dash lights etc. etc.

Have read lots on here about "its worth it in the end" & couldn't agree more.

Never owned a Stag before, always liked them & jumped in both feet in December & bought it.
One of the best decisions I have ever made

Thanks to all who have helped me on my way (sorry about the pestering messages Kryten).
Still loads to do, cant wait to get out there & do them.

Even had a "hello" from an MG Midget driver I passed twice on the backlanes

Have a few questions to ask on a couple of things I found today, but will put them on another thread when I calm down a bit.

That must have made your weekend Paul, glad you felt all the work was worth it. Now you've got the whole summer to look forward to! It's going to be a couple of months before I'm in a position to take a spin in the Stag but I can't wait. Very nice looking TR6 btw.
