    First fix of the year

Well I must confess that I put my car in the Garage at the end of November and apart from fitting a new fuel pump on it a couple of weeks later, there it has slumbered until today. although It's been started and run up to temperature about 3 times in that period, so not completely ignored.

Unfortunately, family circumstances, helping my Son with his growing business and the weather were the reasons behind this, anyway took it for a great top down blast today (some 60 miles) had a nice lunch and pint in a really nice country pub, even took the Wife and Dog with me.

When you don't use the car for while it's very easy to forget what a great privilege it is to own and drive one of these 70's icons.

    Roll on the summer.

Sit in the back if you have long legs.
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!

Hi Glad you enjoyed your drive! As said in other thread nearly did that last monday but fuel pump problems intervened. I am always amazed at the way the Stag drives. It kicks you up the back on low speed accelleration almost as well as my modern 265HP Jag ......perhaps its because its considerably lighter.

BTW would appreciate your comments on post I've added to the "Fuel tank pics" thread as a co- owner of a Mk1.5

        TIA

Well, there you go. Ian gets his Stag out of hibernation and the sun goes in and it starts to rain the next day

          Sorry folks
