Big Hand

Public thanks to Dave (New to This). For the last 3 months or so he has popped round one night most weeks ;he lives about 25 miles away) to help me sort the bodywork repairs I gave been doing on my Sapphire Blue Stag. That's inner arch, rad support, sill, repairs to rear arch, front wing, B post, A post and other bits and pieces. Tonight after a pig of a journey toy place he fitted my Tubulars a while I put wheels back on and readied the engine crane. We then put the engine back in with much huffing and puffing and a bit of swearing - we even got all 4 engine mount bolts in. He left my place about 1145.

That is typical of the kind of guys I have met on this forum who go out of their way to help - Dave a big public thanks and also thanks to those who have helped with phone/email advice - you know who you are.

It moved on its own wheels tonight for the first te in about a year. I can now move the car to our temporary home to try and put the wires and pipes and other bits and pieces in the right places and get it running.

Cheers Dave but next time do the decent thing and stay to help me tidy up😳

Ever since I joined over three years ago Dave has been rebuilding his stag but in between he has helped so many sacrificing his time on his own project. Well done Dave your amazing.
