    Great weather lately

We took the stag our last night for a meal in clevedon. I took this picture virtually from where were we were sat. With only having weekend weather to depend on it was too nice an evening to miss. We did however burble home with the hood up. God that heater is good. Anyone else got pictures of this latest good bit of weather after all it's only April.

That's a picture of a gorgeous looking car. All the others are jelly moulds.

Grrr - you know hw to make a man envious Edd (however, after all of your hard work you deserve to enjoy your car now)

I may - only may - get mine back on the road for the weekend. It's bound to rain now

        Cheers

That's great news Julian. Looks nice on Saturday. I'm now extending my driveway to accommodate the stag without doors opening on it so will be in a mini digger.

Had to go to south of Guildford today, to Northchapel. Nice run so took the stag. Got caught in a traffic jam in Guildford on a bit of dual carriageway, and the heavens opened! Nowhere to pull off, so had to sit it out, everyone laughing at me Eventually made it to a side road where I could pull off and get the hood up. Everything was soaked.. Once at Northchapel the sun was shining sort of again, so roof down for the trip home, and only the carpets a bit damp now, everything else got a good blow dry!!

Popped into my local gearbox workshop today to thank them for the help and interest in getting my ZF sorted and look what was parked outside. This one has a T&L ZF conversion but the 'box was leaking, so was in being fixed.

My parents lived literally at the top of Redcliffe bay with a full frontal view to the Bristol channel and partial rear view to the Gordano valley the other side until 1985. Only a 2 bed bungalow but fantastic.

The day I bought my Stag, I picked it up from somewhere deep inside Kent and then, with top down as the weather was nice, drove back to Oxford. I was on the M25 just as the rush hour traffic was building when the sky turned grey and then poured. It wasn't so bad on the few times I was moving, but by the time I got to South Mimms services I was quite wet. I was determind not to look left or right to see the other motorists pissing themselves with laughter, but I could sense it.

Thanks for your interest. Much to my surprise, I did get the MOT on my car yesterday so I'm (sort of !) ready. Read about it here: http://socforum.com/forum/showthread...it-again/page6
