an update on my roof dilemma
i undone the swiveling bars at the front each side and managed to close the roof, then offering back up the bars it was clear the hole was an inch away! then dawned on me that what if the big bar is bolted on the wrong way round, sure enough i swapped it around noticing it even has a little stay to i presume stop the folding bit going the wrong way, roof now closes!!!
BUT:
always a but lol, i still have issues at the rear mech etc, on the drivers side up begainst the b pillar the roof is tight at the top and at the bottom i can fit the whole of my fat finger in loosened hinges cant sem to resolve that atal?
when i lift the roof drop the storage hood and lower the roof the frame catches the lid and rubs a hell of a lot, i did once grit my teeth and force it past, ive noticed i can not get the rear of the roof far enough down prob an inch out? maybe they force slam shut once the catch is bolted on i dont know? but shes not right.
im happy ive sorted one issue hoping to sort the rest now
