I pad and iPhone forum viewing

Hi all , I tend to use a iPad or my iPhone to view the forum , each time I want to view a photo on the forum ,I keep having to sign in every time , for some reason the forum does not remember me even though I have ticked the remember me box when I've signed in, also once I've signed in and ticked the remember me box , then I come to a second posting with a photo ,once again I have to re sign in again , it's very annoying ,any thoughts on this gents ? Regards graham

    Hi Graham.
    Please try this:
    Go into "Settings"
    Select "Safari"
    Select "Passwords & AutoFill"
    Switch ON "Names and Passwords"
Hopefully this will make the iPad or iPhone remember the passwords once you have previously entered them after this function has been switched on.

One other thing that you may already know, but it took me months to realise is that when you get to open a photo, click on the opened photo to have it open 'properly' so that you can use the "pinch-to-zoom" gesture to enlarge or zoom into the photo. If yo don't click on the photo after having opened it, I find that when you try to enlarge or zoom, the photo hurtles off to the corner of the screen and won't behave properly.
After having finished with the photo, press the return "<" to get back to the original post.

Sorry if you already know this but as I said, it drove me nuts for months before I twigged it.

    Best regards
    Paul

If you are changing your Safari settings as above, you MUST have your passcode lock set to on to prevent anyone picking up your IPad and using your passwords
