I got home last night from a glorious sunny afternoon's drive around the North Norfolk coast and noticed a strong petrol smell ...
... I took a good look around and saw some heaving dripping from under the front, where I found my bulkhead connection in a terrible state

An easy fix (assume jubilee clips are OK rather than those sprung clips) but I can't help thinking I've had a lucky escape given the proximity to exhausts etc. !!!
A bit disappointed that this wasn't picked up during my recent service, as it's clearly been on its way out for some time (ignore the lengthwise cut as that was me to get it off the metal fuel pipe) but although a pig to check it's definitely on regular list from now on !
