Done that with a clutch swap on my Viva, drive plate sitting on the bench when finished doh!!!!!

Hate to ask this question, but have you checked the pushrod in the servo. Is it set properly? If too short you won't get enough travel to bleed out all the air.dave

Hello everyone. Ive had my stag 34 years and just MOTed it with no creeping brake pedal under pressure.Thought its about time I replaced rear arm bushes with poly. Also changed flexy hoses. All fitted ok but cant get brakes to bleed. Started at ROS bled slow..... bled fast....... Gravity fed. Nothing. Disconnected M/S and its not pumping out only dribble so guessing M/S has had it. I DONT want to wait weeks for a dealer/ebayer who makes excuses as in previous posts here so who do I avoid spending money up front with and getting gusumpted? I would like a s/s liner one.

If no use give LD Part a call. Peter sometimes has them in stock.

Correction; it is working..... . Dur.

I recently bought and fitted a new brake m/cylinder from Robsport. This is the Lucas/TRW type. Easy fit, quality item. Just take time to bleed it through on the bench before fitting.

Past Parts in Bury St Edmunds are ace for stainless steel lined hydraulics. They do not often hold stock, but will recondition your unit and return. Call them first and make sure that you ask for their turnaround time as it varies throughout the year, with Spring being the worst when lots of people are recommissioning their cars.
