Ebay prices ?

Hi all professional Ebayer s.

If l list something for, say 5 days, as it gets near to completion time with o bidders can l change the start price before it comes to an end ??

Yes, on the righthand side of your item there is a drop down menu, go into "Revise Item"

How many watchers do you have? if to is more than 3 or 4 one may bid at the last minute.

If your item doesn't sell it can be delisted for free and you can change the price, delivery cost etc.

Pretty sure that once someone does bid though, that you cannot change it, or possibly only change it by agreement?

Never tried it by agreement, so not certain.

If it has real value start with the minimum you will accept and trust the bidders to do their bit. If its a small item start with no reserve and hope it takes off. Make sure your finish time is when people will be at their computer as its no good ending it at 1.30 am when everyone is tucked up in bed or when they are all at work.

If it's an auction you can only change the starting bid if you have more than 24hrs to go. same with ending an auction even if you have a bid 24hrs before, if it's classified end or change at any time. if you need to do anything give me a shout and i'll guide you through it, cheers roger. I've always listed at 99p. Some things sell for way over what you expect, others don't. On the plus side you are getting rid of clutter and someone gets a part they need.
