Le mans 2016

well with such a fantastic weekend had by all at spa this month the question was asked are we going to lemans in 2016 for the classic and the answer was a resounding yes . i will be contacting our travel agent later this week or in the following to potentially book reservations for car and tent spaces at the track site and track laps are available . it is all inside the track when you arrive and no need to leave site if you don't want to but on the last evening we now have a ritual last supper gathering proper meal and beer in a restaurant probably the "lemans legend restaurant cafe" it was superb last time in 2014.
if you are interested in coming along and sharing the fun please put you name down here in the first instance so i can acertan the requirement and express our interest .the places are costed out on two per car with ferry and camping it will be in mid July this will be confirmed .

Idle question, but what are the campsites like on the Friday night?

For the main Le Mans, it is horrendous and impossible to sleep. Saturday night is different as all the knobs who went wild on the night before are all zonked out.

Yes I have heard of this, as well as races on site. I believe it only happens on the public campsites during the modern 24 hours race. We stay at a private site and there never has been a problem. The only competition the racing cars have is snoring.
