    Seam filling.

For those of you who are thinking of filling the seams between panels, here are a couple of photos of mine.

The seam between the A post and lower windscreen is quite difficult to get it to look right due to the different angles of the 2 panels. The wing being slightly con caved and the windscreen panel slightly con vexed.

Black will show up every little imperfection so you may get away with other colours esp white.

First picture with paint flattened back and second after polishing.

Very nice, but what's that got to do with anything?

        WTF? Don't you start!

It's not you Edd or the weather, just the others, they are out there. Don't know why I bother sometimes.

Don't bite Jeff. I'm sure he is just having a dig at you-know-who, not you. At least, I hope so...............

If he is then I missed it but an emoticon would have been nice.

I think the space between the front wing and the windscreen frame/front scuttle is to channel the water from the front gutter down to the channels on top of the wing if you block that what happens to the water?

I don't think so Dave, it runs down inside which is why there is so much rot at the top of the A post and inside.

Then again, if what you say is true, then it didn't work too well. By filling the seams the water now runs over the top and along the channels to the front and drain away.

Mine will not go out in the rain again (hopefully) so shouldn't be a problem. I filled them too as I don't like the gaps and the cracking that happens on them all unless done properly.

                    Jeff.
