Took Buttercup into work today. She ran beautifully, thoroughly enjoyed the 50 mile round trip in glorious sunshine.
Then I got home, went to take my briefcase out of the boot - to find nearly a full gallon of VR1 had leaked out of the container where the top had somehow managed to unscrew itself.
Very messy, and now need a new boot carpet, plus I hate wasting VR1!
Anyway - here she is in a field entrance just down the lane from the office. Looking gloriously yellow in the unfamiliar yellow light.

I thought "here we go" and pushed it into a lay by just off the roundabout (luckily it was 6.15am and not busy). tried to start it several times and nothing.. like out of fuel nothing. left it a minute and started up, was going to take it home but ran great so chanced it and it got me to work and home later! no idea what happened? maybe misuse of choke? dodgy Luminition?
