Hard Top Vinyl

Seen a few Stags and one currently for sale on eBay where the hard top has been covered in vinyl. My hard top has been at the painters sat in the corner for ages and it's doubtful he will ever finish it. I like the look of the vinyl covered ones so I was wondered if any one knew of any kits available or is it a case of buying the vinyl and making it fit?
Has anyone on here covered their hard top in vinyl and got any advice please, I put one on a Mk 3 Cortina years ago and it wasn't a really hard job.

My hardtop is covered in a beige vinyl , apparently federation stags came with them on , but mine is UK spec . Don't think you would get a kit for it , but an experienced upholsterer could do it . Or why not go all 21st century and get it wrapped then later you can peel off and paint you could go for a carbon fibre look seen some cars on eBay and in the flesh and they look good.

Thanks for the info Michael and a modern wrap is an idea but I do like the retro look of the vinyl.
