I love my stag but when I'm out and about in it , it always sounds like I need another gear. Scott told me at the Bromley pageant about a company that advertises in the mag that put a four speed sierra box has anyone tried this or any other conversion

Have you got overdrive and is it working I know the BW 35 can sound breathless at over 70 but MOD should be relaxed ?Once you have built a ship everything else in life is easyComment

So you are after the ZF 4HP22 gearbox, originally from a Jag XJ40?
Expensive to buy the conversion but you can DIY - check out the various threads on here to get an idea
I have this gearbox in mine, with a 3.45 diff and 90mph is only 3000rpm...
