Peter
I have just changed out my pump to a facet a bit noisy at the start soon settles down. I believe my stag pump has been a bit under powered for my Holley as the stag su pump runs at around 2 1/2 psi my Holley needs around 4 1/2 psi my facet is good for 4 to 7 psi so I have not fitted a regulator as yet will see how behaves on a run
Also the facet pump is a lot cheaper than a su pump.
I made a bracket up using the base plate of the original pump and the curved alternator adjustment bracket. I only needed to drill one extra hole in base plate.
cheers Glenn
