I recorded and last night watched the one-off "TFI Friday" - Chris Evans show between 1996-2000.

Have to say I really enjoyed it and I think he will do a good job on TG, and it twill be interesting to see what direction he takes it in. Who should his co-presenters be? Not a real clue, but they will need to be willing to play 2nd fiddle to Evans though. I don't want Guy Martin under any circumstances - would quite like Jason Plato involved.

There is talk about one presenter being female. I didn't think I would like Jodie Kidd on Classic Cars, but found her enjoyable to watch / listen too most of the time and would prefer her on the show to Sabine Schmitt or Suzy Perry. Thinking about it, Rebecca Jackson gets my vote (she did the Exeter Trials with TIFF on Fifth Gear).

Yes, Evans, Plato and Jackson would make a great team.

Please not Jodi Kidd she is awful. Will be interesting to see where the new TG track is. Goodwood has been mentioned I believe.
Evans outside of work is a different character as a friend of mine who sold a car to him found out. Miserable gxt was mentioned.
