    nice switch for the top hose my only reservation is that most people use the electric fan as a "helper fan" for those "oh no its going into the red" moments, I do wonder if the temp range of the switch is too low for that use and the fan may be on too long don't know what it needs to be just wonder if its too low.

    Just remember that the gauge is not linear cold to half being about 0-90 degrees half to overheat is about 10 degrees.

      with the switch underneath in case the top hose isn't full :shock:

      I run a 92 degCswitch in the hot side of the rad which brings the fan on just below half scale. You can find a wide range of switches in thebreakers. many have two switching points 5 degC apart. Select what you are comfortable with.


      Are we now off the topic of oil and antifreeze?

        You can get temp switches with 2 switches in 1 (3 terminals) for example 82/88 so you could try both to see which works best.
