    Welcome Sir Fred

    Welcome Sir Fred,

Now Sir Fred the Shred has the skids under him, perhaps he'll have a bit more time to do things like waste some time on the forum!

I had to write to Sir Fred earlier in the year when I had some bank charges on my account which I felt were unfair.Yes I had gone overdrawn but it was the first time in 20years.

Within days I received several phonecalls from his 'right hand ' men.

Long and the short of it they refunded all charges

I've just had a mortgage renewal offer from the Halifax - they will lend me 50k less than the amount I have now, and at a higher rate, so I would end up paying the same amount per month as I do now but for less capital...

I have a perfect credit rating and have never had any form of mortgage issue, so what gives? Other than outright greed and the need for me to pay back what a bunch of feckless robbers took, speculating with our moneyand shoved offshore......
