Gent's issue with overdrive help plz.

Gent;s and ladies, sorry.

Thanks for the advice but it's not the problem. Changed out all the wiring to the Switch and checked the the switch on the gear box, which seems to be fine. The overdrive work well for about 2 miles then went intermittent and then stopped all together due to a blow fuse.

Can you get problems with the solenoid, ? if so how the hell do you change it out?

Dean, My intermittent solenoid problem was found to be the loose connection of the push on terminal at the solenoid. I drilled the terminal and used a small setscrew and nut to secure a ring terminal to the solenoid. That was three years ago and no problems since.regards, Peter
