Already booked, Portsmouth crossing. Think this will be my last visit as its getting a little too pricey. Spa may be the one for the future
i did talk to travel destinations this week bob , would be a good idea to start firming things up sooner rather than later. i do love lemons it is a great spectacle and being inside the track as well adds to the fun .
Beautiful early mk1 white tv8 mod? MGB GT and now looking for another V8

I know what you mean. I've been three times and it is losing it's appeal. Everything is too expensive for what it is and there is far too much sponsorship and corporate hospitality going on. It is getting to be no longer for the average enthusiast but more of a social occasion for the wealthy.

Just like Goodwood but I like it as its a great long weekend with fantastic mates. Money can't buy you that.

We did Portsmouth to Caen on way out and St Malo/Guernsey(for lunch)/Poole on the Monday, only paid about £20 more than the Portsmouth Caen return last year.
Nice lunch in Guernsey, Poole interesting, absolutely no signs to lead you to M27 (or anywhere in fact!). Not sure if my lot are going next year, but I really enjoyed it (even if E28BMW dropped a bottom hose on way to Portsmouth and I had to be rescued by an Alfa!) - sold the BMW soon after that, hence I now have Stag. I did see a Mimosa Stag with a Boot rack leaving the campsite Tertre Rouge I think on the Sunday afternoon.
I didnt think it too costly, we stayed in a Chateau 20 mins drive away EURO 65 B&B per night, and bought bagettes etc for lunch on way to circuit.

Mine since 1987. Finished a 20+ year rebuild in 2012. One of many Triumphs and a 1949 LandRover!

PM sent.
They do not give 10% discount for club scheme as mentioned in another thread unless their advert in the mag has an offer reference to quote.
Jeff.
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!
