help me bottoms knocking

So this morning off to a local show,washed polished, new Weber carb and big shiny air filter(Thanks Stagweber)
Running sweet and cool, got about 10mile from Corbridge final destination, oh no Stag had another idea.
The engine started a heavy knocking, and no oil pressure.
I've had to be recovered home, first time in years- last time was when my Herald sheared a rear hub.
Looks like an engine rebuild is needed, anyone got a spare engine for sale even a short block??

Cant help with an engine but can one of our nice Mod Gentleman move this to the open forum so it reaches a wider audience please

That's a tough one. It happened to me once in a 2.5PI on the M1 while driving to the 2000/2500 Owners Club National weekend..... Recovery wasn't helped becuse I was towing a 2500S on a trailer!

I do hope you get your Stag sorted soon, it's a rotten way to start the Summer.
