Different wheels and the "ET" values

There's been a lot of chat recently (and over the years) about changing wheel size

This is an excellent way of seeing before you purchase what different wheels with various off-sets will look like in a schematic view.

I gather a standard Stag alloy has an ET of +15 (correct..) - out of interest I looked at my HRS supplied 6" Minators (Minilte replicas) yesterday and they have an ET of +24 whereas a TR^ has an ET of +08.

Another thing to play with on these warm summer evenings!

Just measured up a standard rim. :- 165 mm divided by 2 = 82.5mm hub to rim edge 110 mm so 110-82.5 = 27.5

Interesting, I wonder where the 15 came from? It's also notable that the Midland wheels seem to come out as
+15 for the stag for 5.5" rims

will it say on the wheel what the offset is ? ,i was under the impression that stag original alloy was 28mm offset,

Hello everybody,

The factory alloys have an ET +28. My Appliance Ind. (Wolfrace copies) have +19. I think Minilites have +19.
