Nothing has been deactivated. If you want to add to someone's 'reputation' for a thread, post, comment, etc., just click on the star at the bottom of their avatar box. Simples.

So someone could have not knowingly touched the star and done this by mistake?

It would be possible to do it accidentally I guess. Reputation' can only be positive.

If you click on the 'community' tab towards the top of this page and then click on 'member list' it - surprise, surprise - gives you an alphabetical list of members and it has a column for reputation. (If you click on the word 'reputation' it puts it into reputation order - well done Graham )
