how does the mk1 currently work then? been rebuilding mine was about to try find the wires and the location of were new pin switches go etcComment

Mk1 switch switches the live side of the circuit, unlike the Mk2 and most other cars, that switch the negative side. Not a really big problem except the finding of Mk1 switches that work.....Comment

Looks a bit like this. This is whats offered at the moment. Not the best but...... you need to cut and isolate the middle red wire ans drill out the copper rivet.
