    First MOT since purchase

Its been almost a year since I bought my new Stag. I have had a few jobs to do on hit, new radiator and hoses, fuel lines and electrical problems but today I took it for its first MOT, and it passed...... No advisories, and the cherry on the cake, i have just taxed it as Historic for the first time too. Its been a good day today.

Great news Mike. So still plenty of summer left to enjoy it (apart from this week obviously)!

Driving a Stag is more than fun its Staggering!

Mine/ours also passed its first MOT in our ownership 6 weeks ago, we just wish we had more reasons to drive it than to leave in remote part of supermarket car park whilst shopping but then find other "crowd" orientated people have parked all around and alongside and twice put opening doors dings in bodywork?

That whole parking thing is so odd, had to deliver an Merc. SL this morning, row of about 18 empty spaces so parked in the middle, had a coffee, and when I came out all the spaces were still empty bar the one right next to me......why???????
My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

A good day for me too. I'd insured with Sureterm this year ( around £120 fully comp) and I took them up on their offer of an agreed value for £19 more.

You have to supply a pile of paperwork and photos etc. to support what you suggest as a replacement value and I guess that can form a barrier for some, it is quite time consuming but maybe they didn't see me coming. It took 6 emails to send it all. A few weeks later and et voila....

Agreed value as I requested at £18,000.

                Regards

                Steve

I like to park next to a "posh" car on the basis that they are going to be more careful and aren't going to open there expensive shiney door onto mine. Its working well up to now. (I'll have ruined it now though!)
