It seems both rear drums are a little bit oval, giving a slight juddering when the hand brake is applied (at a speed) - With the wheels jacked up off the ground you can feel a bit of stickiness every half rotation - Is it possible to get them turned on a lathe or something ? I know you can get discs re-cut if there's enough metal in them but not sure about drums. Or just stump up for some new ones - which are presumably properly round ? Excellent non-rusty condition otherwise. Presumably as its a mild condition MOT might give an advisory at worst so hopefully not critical.

Rear Drums - a bit Oval ?

Had a similar issue with my herald, so put a new set of drums on and improved the brakes no end!
The original drums also looked fine but when you examined them closely, you could see grab marks on the drum surface.
If the drums aren't too worn, they could be skimmed by a good engineering shop or a man with a bigish lathe.
Have fun and don't stress too much,
Dave.
