It's strange really, in the late 80s classic car boom stag prices zoomed up, the stag being a problematic car was still fresh in everyone's memory so I never see this an issue why prices have been moderate over recent years, I'm more in thinking that the Internet especially eBay has lots of stags for sale needing work which is reflected in the price so sometimes gives a false impression of their true value, a look on Pistonheads classified's and the prices are substantially more.

It looks like a bargain to me to. No doubt it will have the need for a fair few quick to be spent, but it looks like the sort of car that people are asking £8-9k for today.

looking on eBay it would appear you can buy a damn good Stag for around £10k.. I wonder how many Stags actually sell for £15+? those are the ones on classifieds and usually dealers so it's anyone's guess!
pictures can hide a multitude of sins, I'm quite shocked just the amount of people that buy a car blind without even clapping eyes on it!! no wonder so many cars get relisted as "buyer messed me around so relisted", maybe the buyer saw sense and walked away when they had chance!
