    Unknown objects

My car was transported from the PO somewhere near New York to me, I received it last week. In the car there were boxes of spare parts and parts taken off the car (instruments etc). Most of the parts I could recognize but there are three loose parts which got me stumped.

The first one is a small tin bracket

third is maybe an anti-run on valve (this is a USA car)?

Subsequent to previous reply I decided to try my Android tablet - you can with an Android tablet also! . So must relate to browser/version/settings although afaik I am using latest Firefox on PC but latest Chrome on Android. Son has now just departed to drive home so cannot check the update status of Safari on his i-Pad

Thinking a bit outside the box but could this be due to default picture viewer settings?

                      You're right, it's an anti-run valve.
It's mainly fitted on cars that were sold in California and is mounted next to the carbon cannister
You can also find it in chapter 17.40.01 of the Stag repair operations manual.
The picture shows it fitted in a MGB.

And I'm glad to see that your Stag is in better condition than you expected.

                      Regards,

                      Peter

                        1) l believe is the charcoal canister bracket. Screwed onto right hand front turret .
                        2) fuel pump bracket. Sits in the boot rear right wing.
                        3) anti runon valve. Its sitting in the bracket that goes onto one of the bolts on the rear of the power steering pump and connects to the missing carbon canister. As peter said above.

I just looked at the pics you posted of the car. It looks like the A/c parts have been removed and also the 'smog' bits. Is there a funny looking valve top left front of the radiator ?

I have a new LHD carpet if you need one ....

Many thanks all for identifying the parts.
The small bracket which probably is the bracket for the A/C dryer (thanks Malc4d) was fitted to the RH turret, I have found it fitted here perfectly: the rear of the bracket was slightly curved and the holes match up with existing holes.

Yes - the A/C parts regrettably have been removed before, I believe I still have the dryer but that is just one thing I would renew anyway when I would have the A/C installed again. The strange valve top left front of the radiator is an aftermarket overflow bottle of some sort.
Thanks for the carpet offer Malc4d - I will send you a PM about that.

Two more unidentified objects... These are made of aluminium and are sort of a gear. A round shaft would fit in one end and a rectangular shaped pen / shaft in the other hole. Both have similar brackets but mirrored.
I have not the faintest idea what these are for?
