Cobra alarm

Have any of you with cobra alarms fitted had the same problem that I have at the moment.

My alarm will go off buy itself for no reason ? It will work perfectly for ages then all of a sudden it will go off when ever it feels like it (in the middle of the night :X)

It is so puzzling :?

Have any of you any ideas ?

But it is in the middle of the night that I know your car is not being used

I would say that someone sinisteris waiting for you to stop putting your alarm on, then they can do what theywant , nice wheels by the way

Or have you got a drain in your power supply.

Also are you going to the TSE meet Monday if so see you there

I'll be at the TSE meet...sees ya there.

I don't fancy staying up all night to keep an eye out for sinister folk, the alarm seems to have a mind of it's own :shock:

My Cobra did that a few times, until I realised that while working on the car I had leaned on the bonnet switch and bent the bracket just enough for the switch to make contact when it got really cold (coefficient of linear expansivity and all that) in the middle of the night
