Hi just for peace of mind,these are pictures of before and after levels ,stone cold for the lower level of fluid ,and after a long 120 mile run (gauge runs at just over 1/3 ,cool )IMG_1548.jpgIMG_1556 (1).jpg
I was told by a stag specailist that you should only fill to a 1/3 full to allow for expansion, any higher and water expands out of bottle. My act the same as yours and also returns to 1/3 when cold. Hope adding this as well put your mind at rest. cheers greg
I tend to go half full to the top of the round bracket as this acts as a gauge when cooled down but I understand someone saying 1/3 full for a bit more room when warmed up.
