hi all, trying to adjust mixture, one carb is fine, the other just turns and turns and turns. can this be fixed of is it a new piston? if so how do you get out?
thanks in advance

It just means the adjusting nut has "run off" the thread that holds it and adjusts it. Have a good look at an exploded diagram (Rimmers? ) to see what I mean.

You don't need a new piston, just a repair to the one you have.

Hi wilf, thanks for the reply. I have looked at the web site you suggested and rimmers. I understand now, however, how do you get it apart?
Thanks
