    What's the part called?

Hi, just a quickie, what's the part called which fits into, and covers, the hole in front of the tonneau behind the b post? I've only ever seen one stag with one, but I think they look unfinished without them, and I would like to get a pair.

    Thanks in anticipation

BosScreen used to sell them. They have stopped selling the screens however the web page does state that they have spares so may still have some. Give them a call +44 (0)1780 470805

Thanks Terry, I'll give him a call. It sounds like this was not an original part, is that right?

Neil W, thanks, is that all it is? How is it held in place?

No idea how they are held in place - a mail to the GSC might shed some light on it - velco ?
I found the site during a bit of surfing on Stags - good place for ideas.
Oh it is not a original part fitted to Stags

The plates have three metal legs underneath. They slide into the gap from the rear when the tonneau cover is open. Closing the tonneau locks them in place. Easy to make if you are handy at DIY.

They have three fingers on the underside and just slip in from the rear before the tourneau cover is closed.

The Scan document on the Grampian Stag Website doesn't have any sizes to make the hardboard shape - has anyone made a set ?
Also the 3 metal lugs - anyone have a photo ?

As I described on a previous thread I have the stainless steel plugs that are offerred on e-bay from time to time. In that thread I offered to make a draw round of the plugs for anyone interested in making their own. I have the jpeg of the draw round still and will pass it on to anyone sending me a request by PM.
