    Hotlimiter 100

    Hi

    Just seen the advert in classic car weekly ,it gives early warning of engine overheating,no wiring needed ? £48 EX PP

    anyone using one? Any good ?

    PS I phoned ,It goes on the top hose with a cable tie and powered by a P9 ( SMALL QUAREISH one) that may last 2 years)

      No web page on search???. Yes sounds a good and realisable idea but anybody marketing such a device should at least these days have a simple web page as I hope I could even write for myself given any personal interest.

      Incidentally I have now bought an infra red thermometer. For the best accuracy one should use this device on a black or dull area. Pointed at the top hose of my stag after 15 mile run I recorded 78degC .I think this device is fairly accurate as pointed at the viewing panel on my kettle as it boiled recorded 97 degC and likewise on a black boxed item in my freezer gave -18degC(as displayed digitally as freezer temperature if freezer is opened.
