Above link to LDPart site gives some part numbers that might be useful. Mine is marked "AVX 10x710" and I'm pretty sure that the numbers represent width and length in mm.
10 x 1100 mm , i'm sure this is correct 'cause when I moved my alternator I needed one about an inch shorter to stop it hitting the wing ,so I got a 1078 mm and thats perfect, 22 mm difference = almost one inch ,not bad after a real session last night !!!!

I think he wanted to move it back to the original position.
Hi Alex
I think you are referring to the pas belt, not the original alternator belt.
Pete
The original alternator belt is shorter than the relocated belt. I remember i was
supplied a new belt wen I relocated.
Tried to get a 710 x 10 belt yesterday but he only had a 700. What is 10 mm I ask.
it is the difference of getting the belt over the cooling fan and then not being able to
get it onto the alternator when in position :-)
Decided to order te correct part from UK and fit it later. Switzerland is not as good as
the UK for spare parts. I miss just driving to the local shop for such common parts
