    Stagweber fusebox

    Good morning everybody,

Yesterday I built in the new Stagweber fusebox. It is a great new design with modern blade fuses in the old looks, i.e. with the old cover. The work lasted about an hour, whereby the parcel tray made the biggest problems, as it is falling to pieces.

    Best wishes,
    Dieter.

Hi Dieter Was there enough connections on the back of the fuses ? Mine is the original with two in and two out and they are pretty much full, I think even one or two of those has a piggyback on them. Cheers Graham

      Hello Graham,
Chris provided these piggybacks together with the fuse box. I think I needed six of them.
      Best wishes,
      Dieter.

Don't forget with the blade fuses the ratings are different, the difference between the glass (Lucas) fuses being 'blow' and the blade fuses being 'continuous'. Therefore the equivalent blade fuse should be half of the original glass fuse that was fitted. If the glass was 10amp, the blade needs to be 5amp (the blade being 5 continuous, and 10 blow)

Chris writes this in his instructions and provides the right set of blade fuses with "half" the ratings.
          Best wishes,
          Dieter.
