Is the repair ops manual still available? There are a lot things that Haynes just doesn't talk about!

Yep, Rimmers, and maybe the other suppliers, sell them. Not cheap at £40 but invaluable.

They describe them as what we always used to call them: 'Workshop Manual'

The other book that's invaluable is the Parts Catalogue. You can sometimes see how things are put together just from the exploded views in there. And it helps a lot when a PO has put something back together using inappropriate parts!

Just a word of warning about both the official parts book and workshop manual - they are NOT entirely error free

One day I may get round to doing a list of the not infrequent mistakes in both of them , but all in all, they're still invaluable.
