Fibreglass boot boards

Does anyone else have fibreglass boot boards?
I bought my Stag a few weeks ago and decided to check the condition of ny spar wheel.
I was surprised to find that the boot boards are made of fibreglass.
No one I've spoken to has seen any like them.
The car came from Cornwall so they may have been made there.

Not seen those before, nice idea and better than the originals.

Never seen them before, but very impressed with them! I definatley think they are better than my warped boards!
I would prefer them to the original type!

Yes I had a set of these fibre glass boards years ago. I don't have them now and cannot remember who produced them, no longer have the invoice. I think they date back to the late 1980s so you would not get them today. Yours seem to have lasted quite well.

Yes late 80's, can remember them being advertised in the classic car mags of the time.
Sold buy someone called 'stagman' or similar!

Do you have some form of insulation/sound deadening on the underside of of your boot lid?

Yes. The pads are stuck on. I have the same material inr the hood stowage compartment.
I don't know if they do any good.

Great Idea as others say much better than the warped ones .. like the place for your lunch box!!!
