Having found the swans neck style of door mirror difficult to get a good rearwards view i've tried a spare MGB ( I know !! ) mirror with a convex glass.
Fitting was straight forward as the holes for the fixing plate are identical so a straight swop.
Very pleased with the result as the mirror head is further forward a better angle is obtained and the convex glass gives a wider angle and a safer view.
Now to fit the nearside
