Looks like the last one I did!

Having bought a shiney one which turned out to be a polished turd, my last one was an untouched restoration project.

At least I wasn't tidying up someone else's bodges.

Be warned though it will work out very expensive, my restoration came to 14K including the 2K cost of the car doing absolutely everything except the engine machining work myself.

That did include a couple of thousand of performance tuning bits but only a few hundred quid in body panels.

    Best of luck

Apologies - have been busy welding the Stag (my co-owner Graham has welded before - I've yet to learn. Will post pics in the new year

Both sills replaced, drivers side wing-bottoms replaced - waiting for passenger side front wing to come back into stock (not holding us up), passenger side floorpan done, drivers side still to do. Then onto boot floor and rear valance - and thats the major welding complete.

I have just been offered a complete set of SAAB 900/9-3 convertible seats in mushroom leather for £50.
Initial inspection looks like the front seats would be a reasonable fit but what about the back?

      Has anybody done this?
Tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything specific

I used seats taken from a triumph stag. They fit and feel great

Have to agree with you there Edd. Triumph's interior design team got them just right IMHO.

            Hi Andrew,

For £50 I would buy it and try it out. Worst case scenario you can just sell it on for the same money...

            Cheers,
            Joakim

The fronts will quite likely fit but I doubt the rears would without a lot of work. You could try them, though, for the sake of £50.
