I am proposing to overhaul a spare clutch master cylinder and I wondered where I could buy aNEW spring from. I believe that the repair kits on offer from the usual suppliers only contain the seals. I have visited a number of local egineering suppliers but the compression springs they offer are far too stiff. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Well, I guess I stumped you guys on this one, so 'nil points' I'm afraid. The answer is, that although not shown in their catalogue, you can get a spring that will do the job from Paddocks.
My next test is about oil pressure gauges (see separatetopic) so please try to a bit better on that one.
