OK Whats This ?IMG_0596.jpgIt was fitted to this IMG_0597.jpg on a rear subframe I have, not touching anything and the single wire cable ran thru' a cleat attached to the bolt holding it to the subframe, so looks "proper"

Looks like some sort of sensor perhaps for an electronic speedo

Near Drive shafts so you're probably right, but nothing on the drive shafts, i'll clean it off and check wires.

I have one fitted. Mine is used for a pick up signal for electronic speedometer it only needs to be a few millimetres from the bolt head to create the Hall effect needed for signal to drive speedometer. About £50 ago if you destroy them ask me how I know lol
