    Happy bunny

    Hi all
Just had the beast put on a rolling road to give it a good tune, and oh joy! Great figures. I didnt want a full power run so asked them to keep below4500 rpm, pleanty fast enough for me.
Just had to change out the main jets as it was a tad weak, now runs great
As you can see on the readout, power is around 146 bhp and torque is good too, peak coming in around 1000 rpm early.
If we ran it to max rpm power would beabove 150 bhp, not bad for an auto.
I also balanced the wheels with a static balancer, as i am fed up with local tyre bodgers making a hash of it, and although not perfect, much better than the pros got it.
Just love it when things go well

        Hi nigel
Had it done at a specilist in Northallerton. Having said that, there are lots of places doing rolling road sessions, just try to get a recomendation frm someone to make sure they know what they are doing! I have a webber on my car, made it a bit easier to find someone . Strommies, dont know why, i think they just frighten some people. I have a feeling they dont want the "hassle" not realy fair, but thats modern yoof for you!!
Alex, cant afford a ticket now, spent all my money on tune up!!

Hi Dave, is the only modification the carb or has it got tubular manifolds etc.

I can add it to the graphs in the Performance Tuning the Stag engine thread, just need to know which one to put it in!

The more I have the more accurate the information that can be gained

Mobile tyres in Goole does a fantastic job of balancing- all my cars go there. If it needs a lot of weight he will try the tyre in other positions on the rim.

              Hi Neal
Only mods are carb and electronic ign. Oh, and a stainless exhaust
I am also running without vac connected.
Thanks for the tyre advice jagojules.
              Dave.
