We could always do a Brummie version through the Queensway tunnels. All we need is a rendezvous point and a decent eatery?

Sorry for hijacking the thread Ian.

Whatever our Stag makes a far better sound than all those TVR's put together! In my village we have a 250m section of narrow road set on both sides by high brick walls. If I need re-assurance or just an incredible thrill all I have to do is kick down accellerate with the hood down along this section of road easing off at the 30 mph speed limit. Works well with my other V8 also!

This Video however gave me concerns as to racing /rallying/ speed trials on public roads.? What message are this fleet of "responsible " TVR owners giving to novice drivers?

With appropriate warnings to those who may find this upsetting or objectionable. Please see https://uk.screen.yahoo.com/factual/...112507698.html
(published with permission of the families concerned in the hope of saving other young drivers lives)

          regards

          H

They can find as many tunnels as they like.....
They still don't have the Stag rumble, even on the open road.

I have joined the TVR and Yank boys on many tunnel runs - they are great fun and the Stag sound is very well received by the other participants.

There was the occasional problem of keeping up with the TVRs, despite the Java beast being no slouch, and getting caught by traffic lights when there is a large pack of cars, but you usually get a pre-planned sat nav route with waypoints and regular stopping points for catchup.

The Hindhead tunnel is such fun in a pack of 30 cars with "poorly silenced" V8s

Getting up that early in the morning was tough though

The closest tunnels to me are under Manchester Airport runway.

I think I have a foot in both camps here - Stag power by TVR V8.

                Makes me smile anyway.
