    Change of plan / Dilemma

I haven't been posting on here much of late but still been playing about with my stag, or I was until I made another purchase last Sunday which has kind of changed my long term plans and making me re think my stag situation !

As as most of you know I've had my Sapphire blue stag for a few years now and been collecting part for the resto and doing the odd bits on it when I can. That however all changed last Saturday afternoon when I spotted another lovely Sapphire blue Stag for sale and made a few calls then went to see it last Sunday lol.

The short story is that I am now the owner of 2 Sapphire Stag that both need engine work but the one I bought has had loads spent on it and will be a well sorted /restored stag that ticks most of the boxes I want as my dream Stag.
The only thing I'm not over the moon about is that the new stag is a manual overdrive car and I ideally want an Automatic !
My dilemma is do I cut my losses on my original auto stag and improve the new one further whilst using it or sort all the things that need doing on the manual car and then sell it once I've had some time with it. Either way one of them has got to go as I can't have 2 Stags as I've still got the Rover also

I will let the pictures do the talking of the new stag.

That's more stock than some Stag traders have, you should do well. They look ok, how are the mechanics?
What sort of price are you after.

Is that the Cherished Classic Stag with a rumbling bottom end then? Looks very nice.

              Good luck with it/both/either.........

Did you look at this then Ian or did they come clean on the advert?

No, saw it advertised briefly, looked tidy but couldn't understand why they didn't sort it themselves? Lack of time? Or something more sinister? I'm perhaps too cynical.

Anyway, one Cherished Stag is enough for me...........

                        Ian

ps They did come clean on the advert.

You are a lucky guy Darren, rumbling bottom or not () that is a beauty and the Rover, my two most favourite classics.
i'd always prefer a manual Stag, far better geared to the one too few cogs of the auto.

                          keep them all!

                          cheers

Lee at cherised classics said he didn't have time to do it as he has quite a lot on his plate at the moment

Mike I've got the Rover out this weekend as I'm taking it to a localish show in Pitsea - come along in your Stag. You could even have a drive of the Rover if you want
