I am not sure anyone knows what the correct colour is these days. The general consensus seems to be that Ford Dove grey is pretty close. It seemed to be a lighter shade than the original, but without the two side by side to compare I am sure no one will be able to tell the difference. Dove grey is an 'off the shelf' item in Halfords - or at least it was when I sprayed mine six months ago.

Thanks Dave, I will look for that one.It doesnt need to be exact, Ijust didntwant to do it silver,or plain grey really, I think the blue tint looks good.

Dove Grey is plain grey. Bob knows his stuff, I would try his suggestion first:shock:
I just used some Ford Dove grey as its easy to get, but it looks the colour of window putty! it is a yellowish grey. I was expecting something a but bluish like a smokey colour!

Hi Chris,
Put a webber on it
Or something else so you can have a nice Chrome filter:P
The paint we only rub off on the bonnet pad anyway:X

If this was not such a time-warp car, I might consider fitting a Holley etc but I think the originality on this one is worth preserving.
