    Tow Bar removal

I'm just about to remove the tow bar and electrics from my Stag. The bar removal is fairly straight forward ....I think , but it's the electrics I'm not sure about.
Am I ok to just cut the wiring ,and pot end the wiring at the " car end" , Or is the wiring effectively on an in and out loop meaning if I just cut and remove I will mess up the wiring to my lights etc. Hope that makes sense !

The wiring will be teed in so you can just cut away, don't leave any exposed ends.

Most prob. just connected with those horrid blue clip connectors. Easy to remove but leave a small part of the wire exposed.

I took mine off when it was refurbed earlier this year.
Car looks nicer (cleaner lines) without it IMO, but it did have a deterrant value as it would have made a nasty mess of anything which got too close to it.
Still got it against the garage wall but doubt if I'll put it on again.
I took the wiring back to the original loom at the back by cutting out the wires.
No problems and it was good to get rid of the connectors (twists of insulating tape) and get everything back to original

It's off.......five seized bolts took 2 hrs, then the final bolt head rounded , and one junior hacksaw and another 90 mins and the whole lot hit the floor. Result is great, it was like having and old bedstead bolted to a work of art

Anyone know whether the 25 mm hole under the spare wheel should have a gromit in it , or is it there for drainage ?

Cant check just now, but believe it has the grommet. There are no open holes in the boot.

I put a grommet in it just to stop water getting in

Gromit is the dog in certain Bristol-based cartoons....I wouldn't want him in my boot!
