Good morning,
Not come across anything as yet.
By the way I notice you are in Malta,We've had a few trips over there, particularly Gozo and intend to live there in the not too distant future.
It would be nice to have an unbiased view on the import process for my Stag and daily driver and the residency implications of paying import duties excetera.
I'm am presuming your an expat that has gone through this process.
Any information would be gratefully received,
Regards Ken.

I'm a native Malteser actually but still able to help you with your enquiry. If you've had the Stag for at least three years and intend to keep it, then there is no tax to pay. Cost to bring the Stag over to Malta from the UK is about 900€, so about 700GBP. If its in original format (ie having original engine etc), you can have it registered as a classic and the licence is 8€ (5GBP) yearly. Let me know if you need more info , contacts etc. Glad to see another Stag in Malta - its getting lonely here. Rumors are that there are another three but never actually saw them on the road - its a rare species! Here's the form to apply for exemption tax - the conditions are in the form itself: http://www.transport.gov.mt/admin/up...0122134728.pdfOriginally posted by v8ken View PostGood morning,

Sorry for rising up old thread. I am going to Malta in September from Lithuania. In Lithuania from September not vaccinated people would be unavailable to use public transport. What is situation in Malta, can people use public transport or must use something like this https://www.cool.mt/ ? Asking because I am not vaccinated and somehow I will have to get to apartment from airport. I am tired of that uncertainty. :/Originally posted by ham204stag View Post
